The Leinster School's Vinnie Murray Cup is the secondary rugby union competition for secondary schools affiliated to the Leinster Branch of the IRFU (behind the Leinster Schools Rugby Senior Cup). C.B.C. Monkstown have won the cup the most times with three wins. Gonzaga College have won the trophy twice. St Gerard's School, The King's Hospital and Kilkenny College have all won the cup once. The competition is in memory of Vincent Murray, a teacher in Clongowes Wood college who trained the rugby team and died an early death in December 1999.
